Continuation of Final Project in Art 373

Like I promised I am posting my next model, Joann.  She has modeled several times for school projects.  I’ll have to post some more of her photos in the near future.  The morning of her session was cloudy and nasty.  I was really hoping for it to stay that way, because stormy clouds make great images.  By noon the sun was beaming and it was warm.  It did turn out to be a great session though.  The sky was a beautiful blue as you will see in the photos.  We went to some new locations I discovered.  New locations are always fun and exciting.  Thanks Joann, you did a great job.! I could have never done some of those poses she did.  It was really fun.  We’ll have to search for some new locations again soon.

Welcome to my new blog. Final Project in Art 373.

Hey,

Welcome to my new blog.  I am so excited.  This year has been an exciting time.  I am moving forward in my career and having a wonderful time.  God is good!  I have several weddings and portrait sessions scheduled for 2009 and hope to schedule more.  I also have weddings scheduled for 2010.  You actually will get to see one of my brides in this post.

I am posting photos from my final project in Art 373.  He let us choose whatever subject we wanted to.  I chose Fashion and Beauty.  Those of you who know me know that still life is not my thing.  One of the girls in my class is wonderful at photographing food and others are great at product photography.  Myself, I am a people photographer.

I used 3 models for this assignment.   I will post each model individually.  First I will post Kassie.

Kassie is one of my future brides.   Also, this is the first time she has ever modeled for me.  When I advertised on Facebook that I needed models she offered to help me.  She did a great job!  She walked all over downtown in heels.  My feet would have been killing me, but rocked it.  She even climbed on walls and ledges in her dress and heels.  I can’t wait to shoot her E-session and Bridals.  I’m sure we will have a wonderful time.  Thanks Kassie!
