Senior Portraits {Baton Rouge Senior Portrait Photography}

MK is one of my 2010 Senior Reps.  She was so much fun.  She was up to trying anything and I believe we got some great shots.  Thanks MK for being one my of reps.  It was fun getting to know you.

This place is one of my favorite places to shoot.  When I first started years ago I shot there alot but I haven’t shot there in quite a while.

This one of my favorite images from the session.

This tree was in full bloom and so beautiful.  I just had to photograph near it.  The next week I went back to see it and almost all the blooms were gone.  I caught it on the perfect day.

Great new spot.  Will definitely have to use it again.

6 months old {Baton Rouge Children’s Photographer}

Baby E. is one of my year babies.  It was been so much fun watching her grown over the last 6 months.  You can check out her newborn and 3 month post also.  She loves to smile and laugh and is such a treat to shoot.  Thanks D and A for allowing me to document this wonderful time in your life.

Bridals {Louisiana Wedding Photographer}

I shot these bridals back in Janurary.   I have never had a bride agree to posting the bridals prior to the wedding, so I’m excited about posting these.  We shot at the Old State Capitol and I was very pleased with how they turned out.  Kassie is so much fun and looks beautiful, as always.  Thanks Kassie for allowing me to be the one to document this time in your life.

Thought I’d start with my favorite image.  The lighting was perfect.  I blew this up into a 20×30 gallery print and it looks beautiful.  The room was a great room to photograph in.

I love the way this image highlights the dress.

Love the staircase in this one.  Couldn’t help it.  I had to take a few images that showcase it.

The checkered floors are great.  So much fun to photograph on.

I know this is a long post but I had so much trouble choosing just a few.

Love the lighting in this one.  Came out just like I planned.  You should have seen me running up and down the stairs to the Chamber Room trying to catch the sun in just the right position.  It was totally worth it for this shot.

This one reminds me of Cinderella.  I think it is because of the stairs and the tiara.

And for some reason this one reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.  Not sure why.

I Heart Faces – Bundled Up

This week’s photo challenge at I heart faces is Bundled Up.  I took this picture last year for a school project and love it.  It is one of my favorite faces I have taken.  When I saw the topic I didn’t even have to think about it.  I knew this was the photo I wanted to enter.  You can check out some more of the entries at their website.

Baton Rouge Newborn Photographer – Baby W.

I shot this newborn session back in December.  Such a happy little family.  Grandma’s and Grandpa’s were there and we had such a great time.  I had shot M.’s maternity images and was excited to have the priviledge of watching baby W. grow over the next year.  We shoot his 3 month photos this month and I can’t wait to capture all the changes he has gone through.  Thank you M and D for allowing me to document baby W’s life over the next year.  I hope to capture images you will cherish for a lifetime.

One of my favorites of the 3 of them together.  Such a cute little family.  I love to photograph newborns and be part of the excitement and love shared when baby comes home.  Such an happy time for the whole family.

Such a cutie.  He was precious and dressed so cute.  He did so well and stayed awake for the majority of the shoot.  Lots of newborns sleep but as you can see Baby W. was awake and able to show us his big beautiful eyes.

Baby W. and Daddy.  I was so privileged to capture this moment between Baby W. and Daddy.  These will be wonderful images for M and D to look back on in years to come.
